PDSB'S Final Vigil at Capps' Office of 2010

After all our calls to her office, why has Lois Capps NOT signed onto the “Welch Letter” proclaiming her opposition to continued tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans?

On Wednesday, December 15th, please join your local PDSB members at NOON to present a message to our Congresswoman that we want her to stand up with her fellow Progressives in Congress and to join them in this protest. Our message is clear: NO TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH; IT’S TIME TO HELP AMERICANS WHO NEED HELP; DON’T’E LET UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS BE HELD HOSTAGE TO LOWER TAXES FOR THE RICH.

Please make creative signs (Big Letters/Few Words = for people driving by), if you can, and show up at noon at Capps’ office at 301 E. Carrillo Street (at Garden St.).    Remember the words of Margaret Mead:  “A small group of thoughtful people can change the world.  Indeed, it is the ONLY thing that ever has.”

As always, a plea for Peace will also be part of our message.

Peace, Progress Courage & Compassion,

Lois Hamilton & Jon Williams
PDSB Co-Chairs
